Welcome to Family Camp!
You are invited to a special weekend getaway with family and friends. Over Labor Day weekend (September 3-6) individuals and families of all shapes and sizes will gather to enjoy time together in community during this unique camping experience.
This year’s location at Camp Friendship, in Annandale, will allow us to accommodate all who wish to join us at Family Camp. Campers can choose to stay in a tent or cabin. Cabins are multi-family arrangements with personal sleeping areas, shared living space and bathrooms with showers. Throughout the weekend there will be opportunities and activities to meet you in your personal and spiritual needs, including:
• Time to celebrate the beauty of God’s creation, through both quiet reflection and joyful activity!
• The perfect setting to grow and deepen in our relationships with family and friends.
• Opportunities to grow in faith, including worship experiences for all ages through word and song.
• Opportunities to enjoy fun, meaningful activities, and to celebrate the children of our community as they are embraced & affirmed.
• The chance to “catch your breath” through extended time away from the demands and schedules of daily life.
Family Camp Leadership Team
The leadership team for Family Camp 2010 is a great mix of full-time program staff and clergy, including Jodie Nyberg, Gabe and Hilary Flynn, Lori Heutmaker, Sara Luedke, Allen Hilton, John Estrem and Kristen Jeide. They are eager to share this special weekend with you, as we build relationships and memories through friendship and faith. Every individual and family participates in making Family Camp a success. Responsibilities range from small to large, fitting your interests and abilities, and are all very important to the weekend.
Registration & Fees
• Deadline to register is Sunday, August 1. A deposit of $100 will hold your spot.
Final payments are due on the registration deadline, August 1.
• Cabin fee includes lodging, meals and all programming/recreation:
Adults (18 years and up): $165.00
Youth (9-17): $120.00
Children (3-8): $100.00
Little Ones (Birth-2) are free
• Tent fee includes tent site, meals and all programming/recreation:
Adults (18 years and up): $100.00
Youth (9-17): $75.00
Children (3-8): $65.00
Little Ones (Birth-2) are free
