Our Purpose
The Board of Mission and Outreach is committed to improving our community, nation and the world by:
• Providing opportunities for our congregation to engage in mission activities at the local, national and international level
• Granting financial support to organizations that provide temporary support to, or create sustainable improvement in, the lives of disadvantaged youth, families, and adults
• Instilling in all members of Wayzata Community Church a commitment to serve others...fulfilling our promise of "Called to Serve" with a hands and hearts involvement with our mission partners.
A significant number of members are actively involved with local, national and international WCC partners. In addition, many serve individually-chosen mission partners. The benevolence committee of the Mission & Outreach Board distributes funds to numerous organizations. WCC continues to focus our mission efforts to meet the needs of families, children, and housing.
