Wayzata Community Church offers a variety of fantastic programs for all ages and interests
each Wednesday, from September through May. Opportunities for children, youth and adults are
scheduled to accommodate participation for the whole family, centered around the Suppers, Etc. fullchurch dinner each week. Many of the favorite programs from past years are offered again this year, including music, education and fellowship activities, as well as some new programs, which will begin this fall. We hope you’ll consider checking out these new opportunities!
The Gathering – All K-8th grade students and families are invited into a time of fellowship and
energetic worship each week from 4-4:15 p.m. in the Great Hall. Jodie Nyberg and Lori Heutmaker will lead this worship time each Wednesday before participants break off into their various programs for the afternoon.
Suppers Etc. - Come and enjoy great food and great fellowship for all ages. No reservations are needed, and everyone is welcome! $7 for adults, $5 for students, $2.50 for pizza, with a maximum of $25 per family. Again this year... prepaid accounts are available! Deposit money in advance into your family’s account— no need to send cash with your child each week. Details and forms can be found at the Suppers, Etc. cashier table.
Celebration Singers – This year, all adult choirs will be rehearsing on Wednesday evenings. The Celebration Singers focus on a variety of contemporary music and praise songs, as they prepare music for the 9 a.m. Sunday worship service. Director Tom Paulson invites all young adults and adults to come and add their voices to this dynamic and fun group of singers.
Bible for Dummies –Rev. Dr. Allen Hilton, our new Minister of Faith and Learning, will lead this Bible Study at 4 different times each Wednesday (7 a.m., 10 a.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.), allowing for a convenient, “no excuses” accommodation for even the busiest schedule. This study is for everyone… no matter your level of experience, knowledge and comfort with the Bible. Come ready to grow and have fun!
