Mobile Packaging Event at WCC
October 29-31, 2010 Help us feed thousands of malnourished children as we package a complete days nutrition for children who are starving in our world. We need 1,000 volunteers in teams of 10 to package meals in the Great Hall during this 5-day event.

Mission Festival
May 22, 2011 This annual May event engages our children in a special worship service focused on mission, followed by opportunities for the whole church to share in fun and fund-raising for specific mission projects. We need many hands to run booths, food, the auction and activities for this energetic day.

The Rummage Sale
June - August 2011 The WCC Rummage Sale, held annually in August, is a community ministry of service, fellowship, and mission outreach. Dedicated volunteers— women, men, and youth, members and non-members— sort and organize donated goods starting in June for the two-day August sale. Proceeds go to fund worthy causes outside the church. Donate your usable but unwanted clothing and goods, and volunteer your time.

Women’s MINISTRIES Missions Women’s Ministries includes an ongoing twice monthly mission through “Thimble Bees” which produces quilts and layettes for infants whose families are in need of this support. Women’s Ministries also has a March Mission Workday where they assemble handmade items for local service agencies.

Special Offerings Our Church’s Wider Mission is a yearly offering we collect, along with 3 special Sunday offerings throughout the year, which support national and international disaster relief and hunger programs through the United Church of Christ, Church World Service, and One Great Hour of Sharing.
