The Mental Health and Substance Abuse Ministry of Wayzata Community Church invites you to attend Mental Health Connect’s 3rd Annual Virtual Breakfast of Hope. We will gather virtually on Thursday, May 20 from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Are you living the life you want? Learn how to live your life intentionally with nationally known speakers Kelli Nielsen and Joe Davis.
Kelli Nielsen, The Grief Guru, will speak about “Advancing Through Adversity.” Kelli is passionate about helping others get “unstuck” to find peace, hope, and joy again after experiencing loss. She will discuss how to navigate through adversity in an intentional and productive way. Kelli is also a prominent author, consultant and teacher.
Joe Davis, Artist and Educator, will speak about “The Healing Community and Vulnerability.” Joe employs poetry, music, theater, and dance to shape culture. He’s the Founder and Director of the multimedia production company The New Renaissance, the frontman of the emerging soul-funk band, The Poetic Diaspora, and co-creator of JUSTmove, racial justice education through art.
Wayzata Community Church is part of a collaborative of faith communities in the Twin Cities who work together with Mental Health Connect. You will learn more about what Mental Health Connect is doing in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas for people with Mental Health concerns, and leave with resources to help you, your friends and loved ones. Funds raised from this event will support the mission of Mental Health Connect, providing community-based resources, support and education to improve access to mental health services and to connect individuals and families with the services they need.
