Whether you are giving in-person care, long-distance support, or something in between, Care for Caregivers brings us together to share our caregiving experience with others. Join us for confidential conversation and encouragement on the fourth Thursday of each month from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Onan Room. All are welcome whenever you can attend.

On March 23 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm, Krista Dow from Brookdale Senior Living in Plymouth will be our guest speaker, specializing in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. She will discuss navigating through your loved one’s memory loss diagnosis: Learn helpful information, resources and tips for how to take care of your loved one’s needs, while also taking care of yourself. On April 27 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm, Susan Anacker, a Physical Therapist with Fairview Home Care and Hospice will be our guest speaker. Susan’s presentation on physical therapy for family members and caregivers will include demonstration of how the caregiver can effectively and safely use aids and appropriate body mechanics to support, guide and transfer their loved one at home.
