CARE FOR PROFESSIONAL CAREGIVERS
We are a monthly group meeting of professional caregivers from disciplines such as healthcare, education and behavioral health. These demanding professional roles cause us to sometimes hide our suffering from ourselves and others, taking a toll on our health and well-being. Not a peer supervision or consulting group, Care for Professional Caregivers is a confidential support group which will explore what it means to share the strain and joy of our work caring for and supporting others.
*NEW!* Join us on the second Tuesday of the month from 7:00-8:00 p.m., currently on Zoom. Click here to register.
CARE FOR CAREGIVERS
Many of us are providing unpaid health or supportive care to someone we love — an aging parent, a family member or child with a disability, or a spouse, partner or friend with an illness. These demanding personal roles cause some of us to hide our suffering from ourselves and others, taking a tremendous toll on our health and well-being. Care for Caregivers brings us together to learn how to recognize our suffering. We will share self-care and soul care practices that can soothe and renew our hearts, bodies, and minds.
*NEW!* Video presentation of the topic of the month will be sent for viewing at your convenience during the fourth week of the month. The monthly gathering will be held on the fourth Thursday of the month from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Zoom for care and support of the caregiver community. All are welcome as they can attend. Discussion may include the content of the video or any other needs or requests that the group may have. Registration is required to receive the topic of the month video and group updates.
