All month in Graceland we are talking about the 12 Disciples! In addition to learning the story from the Bible and doing many creative projects, we’ve talked about how we can be the hands and feet- today’s disciples in the world. Pictures below are from Sunday’s Art room-“fisher of men”fish. We also added to a paper chain sharing kind acts we’ve done in the world!
This year the day we celebrate love, Valentine’s Day, February 14th, is also a day to show love to our neighbors near and far! Join us in the gym for our annual hands on service and mission fair at WCC. We’ll make sandwiches for the homeless, fill bags of laundry soap for those in need, make dog for the dog shelter, create snack and play bags for siblings and parents at the Ronald McDonald House and so much more. Representatives from many organizations will be here also to tell you more about their non-profit and to encourage your family to continue volunteering. No cost for this event, bring your friends! The more volunteers we have the more we can do to help others in need!!
We Need Your Help!!
This month we are in desperate need of volunteers for teaching and guiding. I promise you, it is fun, and your kids LOVE when you volunteer. I am in need of teachers and guides for kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades throughout the month. Click here to look at the openings and to choose dates to help. No Moment for Mission and Bible Books and Games this Week!
Join us for our annual Mission fair instead!
Bring your friends and join in the fun! Feb. 16th from 6-10pm
Kids’ Night Out meets from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the Gym. All children ages 3 through 5th grade are invited to join their church family for games, crafts, dinner and a movie once a month at church! This is a great way to build relationships with others and to experience church in a different way. Registration is required.

Children with special needs are always welcome! We’ll provide a 1-on-1 Buddy or whatever your child needs. Contact Jodie Nyberg or Hannah Cruzen to discuss details.
New this year: Extended Day
This year we are also offering an extended day from 12:00-4:30 p.m. The charge is $20 per day for extended care. If you choose this option, please send a bag lunch with your child each day. Extended day activities include: outdoor play, gym time, movie or board games, library time and art experiences.
Summer Camp Registration is Now Open! All kids currently in 2nd through 5th grade, you can come to overnight summer camp this year! There are two options for current 2nd-4th graders and 3 times to choose from for current 5th graders who will attend Middle school camp this summer! Click here to register.
