Soul Sisters is a group for all women and friends of Wayzata Community Church. That is you – all women, all ages all stages! Our mission is to inspire and equip women to spread the inclusive love of Jesus.
Donation Drive for Tubman Center
October 17th from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the Front Entrance of WCC
In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, Soul Sister’s is collecting new items to donate to the women at Tubman.
Tubman is Minnesota’s largest provider of domestic violence shelter beds. In addition to safe shelter, Tubman offers transitional housing for victims of violence and trafficking; legal services; mental and chemical health treatment and therapy; youth outreach, and more.
This is a drive-through event. Volunteers will meet you at your car to pick up your donations. Items needed (all must be new and unopened):
• Winter Coats – all sizes including XL-3X
• Hats, Mittens & Gloves
• Cozy Slippers
• Bras – including large sizes
• Journals & Pens
• Body Wash
• African American Hair Products
• Sheet Sets – twin and full sizes
• Pillows
• $25 and $50 Gift Cards to Target, Cub Foods, and ALDI
If you are unable to drop off your donations on October 17th, please contact Connie Hines at (952) 404-1497 or conniejaye.hines@msn.com to arrange a drop-off time. If you would like to make a monetary donation directly to Tubman we will have donation forms available or you can make them directly to Tubman by clicking the button below.

Yoga of Compassion with Deb Lumendal is currently on hold.
The Yoga of Compassion is designed to connect mind, body and spirit. Focus on breathwork, balance, strength and flexiblity in a supportive environment (sangha) with modifications— finding a yoga practice appropriate for your body at that moment.
