Care of You Room
We’re starting off our New Year gathering around the table... because really, that’s where real conversation begins. We’ll be “meeting” a few of Jen Hatmaker’s friends in the podcast that have created a community around a table and/ or food:
• Tanorria Askew— established a personal chef company with a heart for community and a soul for diversity
• Elyse, Susanna, & Lauren— friends who have found a secret of life around food prep for their families with “group cooking”
• Melissa Navarro-— prepares a weekly meal & gathering for college student athletes that don’t live close to their homes
We’ll be listening beforehand to “For the Love...” of Food, Episode 5: the Tribe at the Table, which can be found in a Podcast App or online at: http://jenhatmaker.com/episode-05-the-tribe-at-the-table. (*FYI* This is a longer podcast.) We will meet at WCC on Monday, January 13th from 7:30-9:00 p.m. in the Care of You Room, which is located in the Gym. Feel free to come in your cozy clothes. If you have time, please bring a snack to share.
