Facilitated by Nan Peterson
Nice Racism
is Robin DiAngelo’s latest book. She is also the author of the best-selling book, White Fragility. In this groundbreaking book, DiAngelo explores how progressive white culture perpetuates racial harm. Join us for the discussion!

CULTURAL ENGAGEMENT
As a community that seeks to follow Christ we are called to love our neighbors. Please join us for these special speaker events to expand our hearts, minds, and conversations in order to better know and love our neighbors.

Ellie Krug
Monday, September 27
6:30 p.m. in the Chapel
Our guest speaker, Ellie Krug, will speak about Gray Area Thinking: How to Welcome and Accept Diverse Humans. She will talk about inclusivity, empathy,  and compassion as well as difference. How can we better connect across commonality and difference?  She recently spoke with the WCC Saturday Seekers group; they enthusiastically asked her to return. As a transgender woman, she has a deep understanding of how to welcome all and how to build trusting relationships across difference.
