The 8th graders had a great time at the High School Retreat hearing the High Schooler’s faith projects, spending time with them and enjoying some special 8th grade time! We know many of you had things that you couldn’t miss. We hope you know that we missed you this weekend!

THIS WEDNESDAY WE CELEBRATE!
After a fantastic night at the High School Retreat, it’s time to now Celebrate our 8th Grade class! 8th grade families, please join us Wednesday, May 9 from 6-8:30pm as we celebrate our 8th graders by blessing them in WOW and enjoy some time to reflect and celebrate our time together and the fun we’ve had at a reception after worship. Families invited to celebrate with us!

Last weeks Happenings:
WEDNESDAY CROSSROADS
WOW did we have a fun night at Crossroads last week! The energy was BIG as we welcomed in our 5th graders. Tracy shared a great message with us about finding God in the things that we do in our lives that we think might not be connected to God which led to good conversations in our small groups.
SUNDAY SEEDS
We talked about the miracle of Jesus healing 10 lepers and what that means in our lives. We found connections to a few things through this miracle: God loves all of us, Jesus always went out of his way to help those that were the outcast & Living a grateful life helps us to live a “fuller” life.

Where’s CBW?
I LOVE SEEING WHAT MIDDLE SCHOOLERS ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT OUTSIDE OF WCC but getting their event schedule is pretty challenging sometimes! I need your help, please let me know about your middle schooler’s events (THINK PLAYS, GAMES, MUSICAL PERFORMANCES, SHOWS, SCHOLAR COMPETITIONS, ETC!)
