We are looking forward to seeing you all this summer at Music+Message outdoors on the front lawn! We’ll gather on at 5:30 p.m. Food will be available for purchase each week, or bring your own picnic dinner. Music starts at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy great music, food, fellowship, and a message. And as a special treat, individual servings of Adele’s Custard will be given out at every M+M! All are welcome… bring your dogs!

JUNE 9: SOUNDS OF BLACKNESS
Note: Due to heat, we will have M+M in the Gym!

We are thrilled to welcome back Sounds of Blackness to Music+Message this summer! From jazz & blues to rock & roll, R&B, gospel and soul, Sounds of Blackness color each and every song with uplifting messages of hope, love and peace for all humankind. The group has received three Grammy Awards, four Stellar Awards, an Emmy nominations and the International Time for Peace Award, among many others.

You can bring your own picnic, or you can purchase food from The Big Red Wagon Food Truck.

JUNE 16: THE FRANTZICH BROTHERS WITH SPECIAL GUEST JOE SAVAGE
Hosted by the Mission & Outreach Board
Brothers Tim and Paul Frantzich are songwriters and legends in the Twin Cities music scene. They mix strumming techniques and harmonies to make beautiful music, with numerous recordings and appearances all over the state and nation. They have a long history with WCC, leading in worship and other events, including our first summer of Music+Message! Multi-faceted intrumentalist Joe Savage has appeared locally and regionally on radio/tv commercials and Prairie Home Companion. Joe is also an award winning Native American quillworker and is proud to be a member of the Fond du Lac Band of Ojibwe.

June 23: CHARLES LAZARUS FEATURING POWER TAP
Hosted by WCC’s Special Needs Ministry
We are thrilled to welcome back amazing trumpeter Charles Lazarus with Power Tap this summer!  You’ll hear everything from country, rock, jazz, to musical theater and gospel, and every decade & artist from Bruno Mars to Johnny Cash. Get ready for a high-energy evening!

JUNE 30: MICHAEL SHYNES AND THE BAND
Hosted by the Caring Community Ministers
Michael Shynes and his band are back for the M+M finale this summer! Blending shades of multiple genres over an acoustic and full band landscape, Michael’s lyrical voice and songs are fresh, soulful and captivating.
