WCC Senior Adult Ministry
Building a legacy of community and faith
You’re never too mature to be a vital, engaged, and important part of your community, especially here at WCC. Our seniors help show the church what it means to create a lasting legacy. Many of our ministry offerings are multi-generational and designed to invite people into community no matter their age. Others are tailored to specific ages, such as our Family Ministry programs.

If you are a senior adult, please browse through our Summer Catalog. Check out Music + Message on the Lawn, an outdoor service held Wednesdays in June that is inclusive of all ages. You might enjoy participating in Rev. Lindy Purdy’s Brown Bag Bible classes this summer.  Hear an inspiring speaker at the Next Chapter event on June 8. Third Thursday Readers is an established lay-led group that meets monthly to discuss a wide variety of books, and welcomes new participants to their discussions. Join us for the Matins Choir Concert on June 15th in the Chapel. Or, check out the new WISH Ministry, Widowed in Social Harmony— not a grief group, but a social group with men and women who have walked a similar path and want to have fun! Or enjoy one of our fun Brew Nights this summer! And of course, our Rummage Sale Ministry is always happy to have volunteers to help prepare for the Rummage Sale, coming up in July!

If you have questions about where you might find your niche, please contact Autumn Toussaint, Director of Engagement, at 952-246-1171 or atoussaint@wayzatacommunitychurch.org
