The WCC Mission and Outreach Board is sponsoring an Art Supply Drive for the Interfaith Outreach Neighborhood Program.
With the drastic decrease in safe, in-person programming, youth are home now more than ever. During a normal summer, Interfaith Outreach Neighborhood Program staff are on-site facilitating programming and providing enrichment activities for youth. Due to COVID-19 this has become near impossible. With that, Neighborhood Program staff saw the need for fun activity bags to provide a safe, convenient form of enrichment for kids to enjoy with siblings and neighbors. Our goal is to provide art kits for 230 elementary school aged children who are enrolled in neighborhood programs.
We are asking for your donations of art supplies to fulfill 230 art bags. Donations will be received at WCC on Friday, July 31 between 9:00 a.m. and 12 noon at the front portico of the church. We will have volunteers on site on collection Day (July 31) who will be taking your donations, and then assembling the bags and delivering them to Interfaith Outreach.
