Join us for a book discussion of Caste by Isabel Wilkerson, led by Nan Peterson and Kari Swan. We’ll meet Mondays, June 7-28 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Piper Library. The Pulitzer Prize–winning, bestselling author of The Warmth of Other Suns examines the unspoken caste system that has shaped America and shows how our lives today are still defined by a hierarchy of human divisions. Discussions will be focused on Caste reading and additional books about equity and inclusion. Please purchase your own copy of Caste and bring it with you to our gatherings. Questions? Contact Nan Peterson (firstname.lastname@example.org).

Saturdays, 10:00-11:00 a.m. via Zoom
During the summer months Seekers will continue weekly Zoom discussions Saturday mornings from 10-11 a.m. All are welcome to participate as often as you want. If you are not on our participant list and want to be, send an email to Judy Reed so we can share the link with you. In nice weather, we hope to have a couple of outdoor sessions, to be advised, and we want you to be included when you are able. One Seeker recently said, “To me the best parts of being part of Seekers is that we bring our whole selves to share: our questions, thoughts, various beliefs, opinions, life experiences, and curiosity.” Topics are wide-ranging. Joys and concerns, highs and lows draw us together as a group. “Come, let us reason together,” Isaiah said. Richard Rohr speaks of friendship being one of God’s great gifts. “God hides and is found precisely in the depths of everything.”
