Small Group Time: First & Third Wednesday
We understand that comfort levels with the spaces, interactions, and events vary greatly. We will continue to offer the digital small group space to gather, connect, and check-in as we know this has been a deeply meaningful space for some, on the first and third Wednesday of every month from 7-8 pm.
WCC offer in-person worship opportunities while continuing our online presence. No registration is needed.
For the month of May we will continue to offer three Sunday morning in-person offerings, and Parables online. Here’s a rundown of the schedule:
Sundays, 8 a.m., Communion Service in the Wakefield Chapel
Sundays, 9 a.m., Contemporary Worship in the Sanctuary *
Sundays, 10 a.m., Parables Online Worship *
Sundays, 10:30 a.m., Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary *
* We are grateful for all that we have learned during the past year, and pleased to stream these services live online.
Middle School Mission Trip

Youthworks! Trip to Milwaukee, Wisconsin
This summer we will be taking our Middle Schoolers on a Mission Trip to Milwaukee, Wisconsin with Youthworks. Youthworks has been running mission trips in the United States and Mexico for more than 30 years. We will join the Milwaukee team to serve in a number of urban mission settings. We will be following COVID safety precautions for our trip and taking a week away to grow in our faith while serving the world. Rev. Danielle Jones will be leading this trip.
This trip is open to all those who will be 7th and 8th graders in the Fall of 2021. We will have an informational meeting on Thursday, April 8th at 6:30pm on Zoom. Please email Danielle Jones at djones@wayzatacommunitychurch.
Summer Small Group Gatherings
for current 6th, 7th & 8th Graders
Throughout the summer, we like to gather with our small groups to continue to connect and grow in relationships with one another, hear about each other’s summer, and have some fun together. This year, we will continue to find ways to connect and have some fun with our small groups in safe ways. Stay tuned for emails from your student’s Middle School Leaders for information!
Summer Adventures with Middle School Leaders
For current 6th, 7th, 8th graders
Back by popular demand! We have enjoyed having a few Summers of Summer Adventures with MS Leaders and its been a lot of fun! Middle School Leaders will offer different fun activities to get to know each other and to stay connected throughout the summer. There will be a limit to how many Middle Schoolers can sign up. Have fun as a group & enjoy meeting new friends! Depending on the activity, there might be a fee or you might be asked to bring something to share with the group. In past years events have included biking and ice cream, going to a Ninja Warrior Course, Backyard BBQ with Lawn Games, Hiking at Baker Park, Mini Golf, Swimming at Long Lake Beach, and a Twins Game!
If you have questions about Middle School Ministry during this transition, please contact Molly Schroeder, Director of High School Ministry and Family Ministry Team Leader.
