Attention Boating Members of WCC!
We are looking for a number of experienced boaters to assist with the recreational boating operations at our WCC Summer Camp in June and July 2023. Specifically, we are seeking those who are comfortable and experienced to operate our 19-foot Bayliner Runabout to tow campers on our towable devices and to provide lake excursions. We have five different youth camping sessions this summer and each session plans for 1 or 2 lake intensive days per week – weather depending. The camp is only an hour west of WCC in Annandale, MN.
The commitment for each shift is from 12:00 to 4:00 pm for any of the boating days scheduled. You could do one day or multiple days depending upon your availability, and you can sign-up with a friend to form a driver/spotter team. We will even throw in lunch or dinner with the campers and staff. It’s a great afternoon on the water, and it’s also guaranteed fun and a great way to connect with campers and directly experience our WCC Summer Camp excitement. Here is the schedule of expected boating days when help is needed:
• June (14-15)
• June (21-22)
• June (25-26)
• July (7-8)
• July (11-12)
If you are an experienced and skilled boat driver (or spotter) and have an interest in helping to support the summer camp program on the water, please contact Dave Knoll in the business office for more information. 952-246-1176 or at Dknoll@wayzatacommunitychurch.org
