Volunteer with Hammer Residences, Kentucky House
Hammer Residences help people with developmental disabilities live life to the fullest. We are developing a relationship with one of the Hammer Residences that houses 6 adults with developmental needs who live in community at the Kentucky House. Each month a group from WCC coordinates a special event at the house to build community between our church members and the residents. Events include holiday themed parties, bingo night, cookie a meal together or just playing games and talking. To serve at one of these dates contact Mary Coleman, firstname.lastname@example.org, our church liaison to the Kentucky House, to sign up and join with other WCC members to serve at the house.
