Come together in community to deepen relationships, grow in faith, and to take time to intentionally nurture your spiritual life.
Tuesdays at 12 Noon CST
Online Offering: Google Meets
Facilitated by Caryn Schall
Have you ever wondered how God works in the lives of others? How others pray . . . what their perception of heaven is . . . how they interpret the stories of the Bible? Well, wonder no more! On Tuesday, January 17th at Noon CST, Wayzata Community Church will launch its Questioners’ Quorom, a weekly, member-led online discussion group where participants can engage in stimulating conversations over questions such as these. We think you will find this an exciting opportunity to open your minds to new ideas — and get to know your fellow WCC’ers better! Remember Matthew’s call to us: “Seek and ye shall find.” What you find, however, is up to you! Register at www.wayzatacommunitychurch.org/winterregistration.

Inner Compass: An Invitation to Ignatian Spirituality
Every other Tuesday, January 3, 17, 31, February 14 and 28, and March 14 and 28
9:00 a.m.-10:15 a.m. in the Colonnade
Led by Rev. Danielle Jones
Growing deeper in our faith takes time and intention. Ignatian Spirituality is one way to regularly read scripture, reflect on God’s work in our daily lives, and to grow in faith. This group will meet every other Tuesday morning during January, February and March to work our way through Margaret Silf’s book, The Inner Compass. Each session will include prayer, meditation on a piece of scripture, and conversation about the book’s material and how we are noticing God in daily life. The cost for this group is $40 per person which includes a copy of Silf’s book and all group materials.
Faith Bible Study
Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. in the Colonnade
Led by Rev. Lindy Purdy
All are welcome to Faith Bible Study, put on your “theologian hat” and dig into scripture and theology with Lindy. All you need is curiosity and a loving spirit. If you like maps, words, stories, or fellowship, please join us! Led by Minister Emerita, Lindy Purdy.
Saturday Mornings from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Zoom
From a star to stripes, how quickly we zoom through ordinary time. “Ordinary Time”? What’s that? Known by that title in the liturgical church year, it’s a way in “church talk” to describe the weeks between Epiphany, in some cultures called Three Kings Day, January 6, and Ash Wednesday as Lent begins February 22, 2023.
It’s a good time to have discussions. Topics vary and friendships expand. How do you deal with your passages in everyday life? What brings you comfort, joy, hope? How do you expand in accepting those who may be different from your concept of neighbors?
As Seekers we’ll explore more in our faith journeys as we Zoom on Saturdays. We invite you to join us. To learn the Zoom code or for further information please contact Judy Reed at email@example.com. Once in awhile we’ll announce in-person gatherings. If you’re on the Seekers email list we’ll keep you informed.
