Looking for meaningful experiences this season? All are invited to these unique Advent services hosted by Wayzata Community Church.
Wednesday, December 18
6:30-8:00 p.m., Sanctuary
What does it mean for Jesus to move into our neighborhood this holiday season? In what ways do we prepare our homes for all the fun, and festivities, for the hustle of families, and the onslaught of parties and meals? Better yet, in this Advent season how are you making your life? With every action, with every word, we make our lives for better or worse. But here’s the beauty of what Wayzata Community Church believes this Advent season; not only are we making our lives… but the Spirit of God is making her life with us. So let’s mark this season with an Advent Celebration. Let’s celebrate Jesus coming to town. Join us December 18th for this special Wednesday worship service.
LIGHT THE LABYRINTH
Saturday, December 21
5:00 p.m., Courtyard Labyrinth
Light the Labyrinth will awaken us to the light of Jesus entering our world. You will be encouraged to engage your shadows and your own light, and how you perceive each of them. This event will draw on the parallels to your own day-to-day life… the way in which the shadows of your life change during the course of the day, and how the atmosphere of a space changes depending entirely on how we share our light. Hosted on the winter solstice— also known as midwinter— we will prepare the way of the light breaking into our darkness. Join us as we sing, walk, and light the labyrinth at Wayzata Community Church.
ROCK THE MANGER: CHRISTMAS EVE EVE *
