Parables is a worship experience crafted for — and led by — people with disabilities and their families. Everyone is welcome just as they are to a service filled with joyful music, marching, an inspiring message, and meaningful community connections. Stay afterward for fellowship, coffee, and sweet treats in the Colonnade.

Parables Choir

Music is at the heart of Parables Ministry! Join us for 30 joyful minutes of singing, dancing, and experiencing the Holy Spirit together. Led by Kiki and Mike Webert, along with Cayla Worner, the choir welcomes singers of all ages.
POW Interactive Bible Study

POW brings Scripture to life through a hands-on, interactive approach. Using visuals, music, movement, arts and crafts, and storytelling, this Bible study creates an engaging and welcoming space for individuals who learn best through diverse teaching styles.

Ready to dig deeper into Scripture? Each week, a leader shares a message followed by a small-group conversation to explore the Bible, ask questions, share perspectives, and grow together in faith.
Come as you are and find connection, joy, and a sense of belonging with Parables on Wednesday nights.

Bring the whole family for a relaxed summer evening at the park!
Pack a picnic dinner and join the Parables Ministry team for games, laughter, and plenty of playground fun. It’s a simple, joyful way to connect with other families and enjoy a summer night together. To top off the evening, we’ll head to Adele’s Custard at 7:00 p.m.!
All are welcome, just come and join the fun.
Parent & Caregiver Support Group

The Parables Parent & Caregiver Support Group is a welcoming community for parents, family members, and caregivers of individuals with disabilities. Together, we share the joys, challenges, stresses, and rewards of caring for a loved one in a safe, supportive, and faith-filled space.
This participant-led group offers a place to connect with others who understand, share experiences, and find encouragement in community. Come as you are, you are welcome here.
Pizza & Movie Night

Enjoy a relaxed Friday evening of pizza, a movie, and time with friends! We'll begin with dinner before settling in to watch a movie together in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
This event is open to all ages. To help everyone enjoy the experience, participants should be able to watch and engage with the movie.
Trick or Treating at Church

Come in costume or just as you are and get ready for a church-wide Halloween adventure! Travel throughout WCC in search of treats, surprises, and plenty of Halloween fun.
Climb up to The Loft to meet the High Schoolers, stop by the Chapel, Gym, Mithun Hall, and Sanctuary, and even pay a visit to our clergy. Each stop has something special waiting for you!
Parables Talent Show

Come celebrate the incredible talents of our Parables Friends! Enjoy an evening filled with singing, dancing, magic tricks, and special performances, including music from the Parables Choir.
Before and after the show, stop by The Colonnade for concessions, fellowship, and time to connect with friends. Join us for a joy-filled evening celebrating the gifts, talents, and amazing community of Parables!
Friendship Group (Respite)
Saturday, November 21 | 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | The Corner
$20 per participant | Register Here!
Give your loved one three hours of fun and friendship! Participants of all ages are invited to enjoy an afternoon filled with gym time, games, crafts, music, movies, and lunch in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.
Friendship Group provides a wonderful opportunity for participants to build friendships while giving caregivers a few hours to rest, recharge, or run errands.
