Director of Children's Ministry

Full-Time, exempt

Wayzata Community Church is seeking a full-time Director of Children’s Ministry to oversee birth through 5th Grade. We believe every child needs to know that they are a unique, beloved creation of God, and we build on that truth through play, storytelling, music, and worship. The Director of Children’s Ministry will forge meaningful connections with children and parents/caregivers, so families feel known, supported, and connected to WCC. They will lead staff and volunteers to create a space where kids feel known and valued, learning that faith is something they can live out everyday, not just something they hear about on Sundays. They will collaborate with the family ministries team to learn and grow together in ministry. We’re committed to full inclusion for children of all abilities, and we partner closely with families, offering resources and community to help nurture faith at home.
