At Wayzata Community Church, Early Childhood & Elementary Ministries are at the heart of our Family Ministries mission — nurturing faith from the very beginning and supporting families as they grow together.
We believe every child is a unique and beloved creation of God. Our Early Childhood Ministry (birth through age 5) provides a nurturing, safe, and welcoming environment where children can begin to experience God’s love through play, storytelling, music, and relationships. As children grow into elementary school, our programs continue to build on that foundation with engaging, age-appropriate experiences that help them explore the Bible, participate in worship, and begin developing a personal relationship with God.
Supported by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, our ministry blends learning, music, service, and fellowship to create a space where children feel known, valued, and excited to grow in their faith. Everything we offer is designed to be both meaningful and fun — helping kids discover that faith is something they can live out every day.
We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where children of all abilities can fully participate and belong. We also partner closely with families, offering resources, encouragement, and community to help nurture faith at home and build lasting connections with other families.

Our Values

Love: Experiencing and sharing the radically inclusive love of God.

Belong: Creating space for every child to feel safe, known, and valued.

Grow: Helping children build a strong foundation for a lifetime of faith.
