At Wayzata Community Church, High School Ministry is an important part of our Family Ministries mission — nurturing faith at every stage of life and creating space for students to grow into who God is calling them to be.

High school is a time of deeper questions, growing independence, and shaping identity and purpose. We offer fun, meaningful programming designed to meet students right where they are — creating a community where they can explore faith, build authentic relationships, and discover what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life.

Supported by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, our ministry blends conversation, worship, service, and shared experiences to help students develop a faith that is both personal and lasting. We strive to be a loving, accepting community of searchers — where questions are welcomed, doubts are honored, and everyone is encouraged to grow together and learn from one another.

At WCC, we believe in the inclusive, life-affirming, and faith-forming love of Jesus. You will be accepted and celebrated for the unique, unrepeatable person you are as we walk alongside one another on our individual faith journeys.

We are an inclusive community where students of all abilities can fully participate, find a sense of belonging, and be part of something meaningful. We also partner with families, offering connection and support as faith continues to grow at home and in community.

Programs

High School Youth Group
Wednesdays • 7:30–9:00 p.m. • The Loft

Wednesday nights at WCC are home base for our student community. High School Youth Group is a space to experience God's radically inclusive love, build friendships, and grow in faith. Our time together includes big fun, bold music, relevant teaching, goofy moments, and meaningful conversation — all within a caring community committed to spiritual growth and justice.

HS Fast Food Formal
Wednesday, May 13 • 6:45–9:00 p.m. • Departs from West Entrance
$20/per person • Signup required

We’re ending the year in style! Dress in prom attire, hop on the party bus, and enjoy a progressive fast-food dinner with friends. A fun, memorable night to celebrate the year together.
