Checkout & Lines

Checkouts are available at each section of the sale. We will provide a receipt to show the volunteers before moving onto your next section.

Note: The Jewelry and Collectibles sections may have lines to enter them, since those areas have lower capacity limits.

Prices

Everything's fairly priced and clearly marked. Some sections have stickers on individual items; others have posted pricing by category. Our volunteers have spent over a month sorting, sorting, and (yes) sorting some more to get these prices right, so please be kind to them!

And no haggling, this isn't a flea market in Marrakesh. 😉

Where does the money go?

Every sweater, lamp, and mystery kitchen gadget you buy at the WCC Rummage Sale is doing more than clearing out someone's closet. It's helping fund real, tangible good in the world.

Since 1921, this sale has grown from a Wayzata tradition into a genuine engine for generosity. Proceeds support local nonprofits and our WCC mission partners. Recent recipients include Bricks to Bread, Daystar University in Kenya, Gigi's Playhouse, Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, the Salvation Army, and DOUGH grant recipients, among others. In 2025 alone, the sale raised more than $200,000, and over the decades, contributions have added up to millions.

And nothing goes to waste. Whatever doesn't sell doesn't just disappear. It gets donated to organizations doing important service work, including Bridging, the Epilepsy Society, Clothes for Vets, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

So next time you're digging through a bin of old picture frames, know this: you're not just bargain hunting. You're part of something bigger.
